Found in cannabis (hemp) plants, cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a natural botanical concentrate that is high in the compound CBD. Of the more than 75 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, CBD is the second most common after tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Unlike THC, which gets you high, CBD is non-psychotropic and therefore doesn’t cause a euphoric high. CBD oil also contains many other nutritious compounds such as terpenes, vitamins, omega 3 fatty acids and amino acids.
No. You will not experience a “high” feeling from ingesting CBD oil. The CBD oil used in Healthy Path is derived from industrial hemp and is non-psychoactive.
All our hemp crops are grown free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, so our quality starts with our hemp plants that make up our products. We strictly test our hemp oil multiple times to check for contaminants like pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and mold, as well as cannabinoid content. Please consult your physician before using any dietary supplement including hemp extract supplements.
Unlike marijuana, hemp generally contains extremely low (less than 0.3%) amounts of THC and is non-psychoactive. Marijuana contains abundant amounts of THC that is psychoactive.
Both hemp and marijuana are from the same species plant (Cannabis Sativa). CBD taken from hemp or marijuana is the exact same compound.

This really depends on which product you are using, and how your body adapts to it. The cannabis plant contains many different valuable compounds, including CBD, cannabinoids, terpenoids and flavonoids. Humans and other mammals have specific cannabinoid receptor sites. These sites are primarily in the brain and central nervous system, and in peripheral organs, especially immune cells. They make up what is called our endocannabinoid system. CBD hemp oil helps regulate and balance our body’s endocannabinoid system.
Studies show that CBD, combined with the many other valuable cannabis plant compounds, have anti-inflammatory effects, and can help with pain, tumors, seizures, muscle spasms, skin conditions, appetite stimulation, aggression, anxiety and neurological disorders.
Dog and cat owners and holistic veterinarians are using CBD, as a natural alternative, to help pets with a wide variety of ailments including cancer pain, arthritis, muscle spasms, seizures, neurological and digestive disorders, anxieties, past traumas, aggression, mood, memory and excessive barking.
During recovery from illness or surgery, CBD can also stimulate the appetite, reduce pain and swelling, and speed healing. In old age, it can ease the pain and fear your pet may be experiencing.
